Suzanne Cormie, Senior Trade Commissioner from Consulate General of Canada out of Minneapolis will talk about the status of the USMCA trade agreement and other U.S. Canadian trade issues.
Baker Hughes Division Manager, Kalvin Larson who will describe his company’s operations in Minot and throughout North Dakota. Baker Hughes is a full stream oil company. They have operations in upstream, midstream and downstream areas of the oil industry. The Baker Hughes facility in Minot houses five different divisions of the company. This is the first facility in the northern part of the country to house all five divisions of Baker Hughes under one roof.
We will also hear from, Les Knudson, US Operations Manager at AGT Foods. AGT Foods is a global supplier of value-added pulses, staple foods and food ingredients. They buy lentils, peas, beans and chickpeas from farmers around their 40+ facilities located in the best pulse growing regions in Canada, the United States, Turkey, Australia, China and South Africa. They ship these products to over 120 countries around the globe. AGT Foods has facilities in both Minot and Williston and a sales office in Bismarck.
