About the Presenters

Anthony Dudas, a graduate of St Cloud State University, is the current director of the Williston Basin International Airport. He was promoted in 2017 from the assistant director after serving as interim director. He is a Certified Manager (C.M.) of the American Association of Airport Executives.


Jason Bohrer's background as an attorney, a communications director for the Idaho Republican Party and as chief of staff to U.S. Rep. Raul Labrador provide a diverse skill set in his role as president and CEO of the Lignite Energy Council. He is a graduate of North Dakota State University and earned his law degree from George Mason University. Prior to joining the Lignite Energy Council in 2013, Bohrer worked nine years in Washington, D.C.

Brent Bogar is the founder and president of Jadestone Consulting located in Bismarck, ND. He works with communities and other groups to provide research, analysis and communication strategies to support their goals and objectives. He served on the Williston City Commission from 2007 to 2013, managing the portfolio of building, planning, zoning, water, sewer and airport.
 

Vawnita Best is a co-chair of the McKenzie County/Watford City Complete Count Committee and is also the Community Development Director for Watford City.



Marlo Anderson, a serial entrepreneur and futurist is best known for being the founder of National Day Calendar. Trending over 450 times last year, with a average daily Social Media reach in the hundreds of millions, National Day Calendar is the most popular trending topic of all time. With a passion for start-ups Marlo has been directly involved in the creation of Pakkage, Talking Trail, Zoovio, Awesome 2 Products, 3sixty5 and National Day Calendar. His community projects include 1 Million Cups ND, the North Dakota Automated Vehicle Collaborative, The Old Ten Scenic Byway, North Dakota Music Hall of Fame and the Mandan Independence Day Parade.

Dr. Kim Kenville began teaching for the University of North Dakota's John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences in the fall of 1999 where she currently teaches airport management. Since 2008, Kim has been the director of the graduate program for the Department of Aviation and holds the rank of full professor. Dr. Kenville received her Ph.D. in 2005 from Capella University in Organization and Management. Prior to returning to UND, Kim worked in airport operations for Detroit Metropolitan and Milwaukee County airports. She is a certified member (C.M.) of the American Association of Airport Executives and holds a private pilot's license. Kim was appointed to the Aeronautics Commission in September of 2011. In 2017, Kim was a member of the US DOT Working Group on Small Community Air Service. The 20+ member group made their final report to the US Secretary of Transportation.

Tommy Kenville has over 25 years in aviation-related experience, including 15 years at the University of North Dakota Aerospace Foundation and founding the Unmanned Applications Institute (the first Institute for research, testing and consulting in the emerging unmanned aerial vehicle industry in North Dakota, founded in 2010) prior to merging with ISight.
