ND Legislative Session 101

ND Legislative Session 101

Gain insight into North Dakota's legislative process in this concise 45-minute session presented by GNDC.

This informal session explores how laws are made, from bill introduction to final approval, and break down the structure, roles, and players that are part of the legislative process. From legislative calendars to A-committees to caucus – learn the lingo on one of the most important processes that has shaped our state’s success.

This will prepare you for a basic understanding – whether you planned to be involved or want to ensure you are “in the know” as the 69th Legislative Assembly kicks off – from Organizational Session all the way to Sine Die.

This is beginning/entry level, no previous experience/knowledge is a good thing.
